Evolution EV4K HDMI Extender Overview

The Evolution EV4K HDMI Extender enables seamless extension of a UHD 4K60 4:4:4 HDMI signal up to 164 feet, or a UHD 4K30 4:4:4/HDR signal up to 130 feet, over a single Cat 5e/6 cable. One unit connects to a power supply, while the other is powered via PoE. The compact design also supports bidirectional IR, allowing control from either the source or display. No manual EDID or EQ adjustments are required, as the transmitter and receiver automatically adjust for optimal compatibility and signal gain.

Note: To prevent potential video signal issues, it may be necessary to deactivate HDMI UHD Deep Color mode on some LG displays, or Input Signal Plus on certain Samsung models.
